The Coachella Valley agriculture community takes pride in their part of protecting the environment.  Growing Coachella Valley, in conjunction with other entities, have lead the effort in illegal trash pick-up, pesticide container recycling, and have worked with local fire agencies in curbing green waste fires.  In addition, Coachella Valley farmers and pest control operators follow CA laws and regulations in regards to pesticide use.  Safe practices are used when pesticides are applied in order to protect the surrounding environment.
